After months of throwing parties in the infamous Grand Social, Wah Wah Club have announced that they will now be packing their bags and moving across the Liffey to none other then The South William.
The Wah Wah Club is a brand new club space operating within the walls of The Grand Social, from Wednesday through Sunday every week, kicking off on September 29th.
This is a breath of fresh air that the brand is not ending like some of our most beloved clubs in the city, but just relocating.
The statement was made via the Wah Wah Club Facebook page which read:
“Wah Wah Club Is Moving! After an incredible few months at The Grand Social, this weekend will be our last. From Friday 17th Feb, you’ll find us in our new home at the South William every Thursday – Sunday. We’ve got some very exciting plans in there with some great DJ’s (international and local) alongside a brand new sound installation, lights & more coming to the space. We’re so excited about this new beginning as we feel a more intimate space will suit what we want to achieve, which is a different, relaxed and fun kind of club experience with some of our favourite underground artists. Huge thanks to The Grand Social & their crew for a great few months, we’ve had some unforgettable nights!”
